The TenChek system is an interactive telephone and web-based system that allows landlords, superintendents and property managers to access information about rental applicants' past tenancy track record, and to contribute information to a national data bank about current and past tenants. TenChek is a simple system that provides reliable information on tenant track records that is not available from credit bureaus or other sources. All information in the database comes from members like you - landlords, building superintendents and property managers who have first-hand experience with the tenants in question. The information in the database is factual and can be supported with documentation. There is no subjective (opinion-based) information in the system and there is no way to enter such information into the system. The authenticity of the users has been verified before membership is granted, so you can be assured that the information you get from TenChek is valid and accurate. The TenChek Reference Manual provides complete information on how to operate the TenChek System. It provides helpful hints on how to analyze the tenant information you get from the database, as well as tips that will help you operate the TenChek System with maximum effectiveness. |
